International conference ‘Towards halving food waste in Europe’
On 18 & 19 June 2024, Food Waste Free United (with key partners) will organize the international conference 'Towards halving food waste in Europe' at CHV Noordkade Veghel. This event will bring together representatives from companies, public- and scientific organizations, and civil society with high ambitions of halving food waste by 2030. The only way to achieve SDG12.3 is by accelerating joint efforts to change our food system and eliminate food waste at all levels in the food supply chain.
For Whom
All European partners who can contribute towards halving food waste by 2030 are invited to the conference: key decision makers (including a few personal Champions 12.3 ambassadors), ministers, business leaders, business innovation domain experts, public policy advisors, and practitioners.

Food processing without waste: smart solutions on the factory floor
The majority of our daily food has been processed in one way or another, from washing and cutting to cooking and pasteurizing. Automation and digitalization in food factories plays a crucial role in halving food waste. And in the same time strengthens the business case. Join us to find out solutions that are already available on the market or will be soon with specialists from food processing, machine builders and technology providers.
